The project "Native Village" is run in a joint-venture by the Luxembourg Girl Guides and Boy Scouts Association in cooperation with the Administration of Nature and Forests. Guides and Scouts, schoolars and youth groups should appreciate a more sustainable natural life style by the "Learning by Doing" concept. Confrontation with traditional living modes should support a more conscious experience of our environment. Throughout indian tipies, african cabans or a reconstructed celtic house, kids and youngsters learn how native Indians, Africans or Celts lived. Typical workshops as for example ceramics, bakery or celtic games ... are programmed by the "Native Village" project.
